Goodwood Festival of Fun!

Goodwood was fantastic this year and a very enjoyable event to attend. It all began with a long morning commute from London but then an exciting arrival hearing the cars and crowds gathering to see some stunning supercars.

James who shall be launching his members club soon (James William Phillips Members Club) joined Melanie and the day was full of client visits, races and business opportunities whilst taking selfies along the way!

With the Luxury CA Golf event fast approaching Melanie was keen to share the word and had great conversations with yacht companies and auto sport brands who were keen to have presence alongside business professionals at the renowned Executive Stoke Park Event.

In the afternoon the weather was very warm and sunny with a brilliant buzz, we are sure the weekend was even busier as we attended on Friday! and yes that was Friday the 13th… but luckily we had a nice day with no bad luck.

James and Melanie very much enjoy meeting global clients at events all around the world and shall be filming and attending many more great events soon. With exclusive membership a crazy linked in platform and global luxury events there is never a boring day for these two!

CA Executive Golfing Event

Stoke Park is one of the most luxury (quint essentially British) Country Clubs in the world, from it’s royal style buildings to its gorgeous flowing golf course! This is the backdrop to one of our favourite CA Approved Events of the year!

Three ways to understand your client better

Corporate Angels have one main focus which is having a great relationship with our clients. Every business is completely different however there are three actions you can take to ensure you maintain a great relationship.

  1. Listen and don’t sell. Yes, this is probably a strange point coming from a businesswomen however the best business always happens alongside people you actually like and trust. Business is all about listening and understanding your clients, first you must develop a professional relationship and then ensure your product or service is of a high quality so when you are asked about this your pitch is perfect and ready to close.
  2. Always stick to your ideal cliental. When you first start in business this may not always be the case but further down the line you want to make sure the quality of your product matches your ideal cliental. This varies for everyone but here at Corporate Angels the trust and communication in B2B is crucial, you and your team always deserve respect.
  3. Response is key, after dealing with global events and HNW individuals we never underestimate the power f communication. Far too many people just assume clients know or leave it a long time before they respond. Ensure you focus on the right people and respond efficiently and politely. The tone always counts.
