The annual Monaco Yacht Show represents the pinnacle of luxury, showcasing over 125 superyachts built by the world’s most respected shipyards. To qualify and stand out as a superyacht, a yacht must exceed a load line length of 65 metres, whether motor or sail-powered. Listed below is the current world record holder as the biggest existing superyacht and other impressive superyachts, which you will find exhibiting at the upcoming Monaco Yachts Show in late September of 2019.
Azzam, Lürssen Yachts (180 Metres)

Azzam is the largest motor yacht in the world that cost an estimated $600 million to build by a well-known German shipyard – Lürssen Yachts. Launched in 2013, Azzam beat out Eclipse and still to this day holds the record and title as the biggest and most impressive superyacht. The current owner of Azzam stands to be Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Emir of Abu Dhabi and President of the United Arab Emirates. The previous world record that was held by Eclipse is a 162.5 metres superyacht owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

Tis megayacht is the most recently launched yacht by Lürssen Yachts in 2019, considered as the most impressive launch of the year, she is heading for a world debut this year at the Monaco Yacht Show. Winch Design worked on every detail the interior of the spanning six decks that rival with the Palace of Versailles. Special features of the superyacht include a helipad that transforms into an outdoor cinema or a dancefloor, spa quarters, and a bridge-deck swimming pool with a jacuzzi.
AMADEA, Lürssen Yachts (106.5 Metres)

The renowned Lürssen Yachts built Amadea in 2016, a chic charter yacht to relax in style. The steel hull aluminum superstructure yacht benefits from an exterior design by Espen Oeino and an interior by Zuretti Interior Design. The superyacht was delivered by secret Project Mistral and is now listed for sale by Imperial Yachts.
KISMET, Lürssen Yachts (95.2 Metres)

Kismet is an award-winning entertainment superyacht delivered in 2014 by Lürssen Yachts, with Espen Oino in charge of exterior and Raymond Langton Design taking over the interior. Several exceptional features of the liner include a private observation platform with an outdoor bed created for stargazing and two helicopter pads, as one is too standard these days. The superyacht is currently managed by Moran Yacht & Ship dealership and is associated with billionaire Shahid Khan.
